Avalon Sexual Assault Centre - 425-0122
Avalon Centre operates a 24 hour confidential, crisis phone line for women who have been, or suspect they have been, sexually assaulted. They provide support, information, options for help, advocacy and referrals. They offer group counselling, escorts for women who wish to go to the hospital after an assault and support during legal proceedings. They also facilitate workshops on issues of sexual violence.

The Help Line is a 24 hour crisis, information and referral telephone line. Volunteers are trained in a number of issues, including sexual assault and sexual harassment.

We offer free assistance for individuals who want to reduce their harmful involvement with - or abstain from - substances or gambling. Change does not happen overnight and APTS is here to support you along the way. Some of our programs include individual and group counselling; workshops; educational sessions; recovery groups; Compass, a structured treatment program; Driving While Impaired and Interlock Programs; Withdrawal Management Programs (Detox); Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program; and Women’s Treatment Programs.
